Schlumberger Software Integrated Solutions and PVEP enter into strategic partnership in the new era of IT
February 23rd, 2017 a Schlumberger Software Integrated Solutions (SIS) delegation headed by Dr. Trygve Randen, Vice President Middle East and Asia, Mr. Christopher Singh, Managing Director Southeast Asia and SIS Vietnam representative paid a working visit to PVEP headquarters in Hanoi.
The delegation was received by Dr. Nguyen Tien Long, Vice President of PVEP and Mr. Tran Binh Minh, Vice President of PVEP, and the IT and Systems, Exploration departments.

Drs. Long and Trygve took stock of cooperation between both sides, particularly during the recent period of hardship for the oil and gas sector. Both deputies reaffirmed the lasting, sound and close relationship that PVEP and SIS have enjoyed over the years. SIS is a world leading provider of softwares and solutions throughout the life cycle of wells, from starting explorations to starting operation, from data management to optimizing processes and IT infrastructures. In recent years, PVEP has rolled out soft/hardware solutions recommended by SIS for exploration, development, extraction and data management. SIS and PVEP have been able to form a strategic relationship built on trust, serving as the foundation for both companies' development, particularly given the harsh current realities of the industry.
Following the discussion, both agreed that SIS will continue to cooperate with and assist PVEP in the new era of IT, transitioning to cloud computing, AI and big data analysis.
