On August 18th in Hung Yen, PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP) awarded the sponsorship of 5 billion VND to build Da Loc Primary School, located in Da Loc commune, An Thi district, Hung Yen province.

Attending the ceremony were Mr. Nguyen Van Phong - Chairman of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee, Mr. Le Quang Hoa - Director of the Internal Affairs Department and representatives of government of An Thi district, Da Loc commune and representatives of Da Loc Primary School.

For PVEP, there were Dr. Tran Hong Nam, Chairman of the Board; Mr. Hoang Ngoc Trung, Vice President and representatives of Trade Union, Youth Union, and Association of Veteran.

Speaking at the ceremony, PVEP Chairman Tran Hong Nam expressed his gratitude to the leaders of Hung Yen Provincial People's Committee and authorities at Da Loc commune, An Thi district for creating favorable conditions for PVEP to participate in local social security activities, especially being involved in the construction of Da Loc Primary School.

Dr. Tran Hong Nam shared that besides ensuring the excellent completion of production and business tasks, social security work has always been concerned by PVEP as an important political task, also the responsibility of the Corporation to the community and society. Every year, social security work is built and implemented as a task in PVEP's work plan in particular and the Group in general to support localities across the country, taking care and improve life of people. In which, the funding and investment in education and training are always the top priority, fostering and caring for the future generations of the whole country.

Chairman of PVEP emphasized that the support to building Da Loc Primary School will contribute to enhancing the quality of local education and training, improving the quality and learning conditions for pupils, and working conditions for teachers in the new school year. Also through this, PVEP hopes to strengthen the relationship and support between Hung Yen province and PVEP in particular and the Vietnam Oil & Gas Group in general.

On behalf of Hung Yen province, Mr. Nguyen Van Phong, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee thanked for the concern and support of PVEP/PetroVietnam in local social security, especially education and training sectors. Mr. Nguyen Van Phong also directed the authorities of Da Loc commune, An Thi district to focus on coordinating with PVEP, implementing the building of Da Loc Primary School with safety, effectiveness and quality, so that the teachers and pupils of Da Loc can quickly learn and teach in new school.
