As part of activities on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2020, on January 22nd 2020, PVEP Chairman Tran Hong Nam and working delegation paid a visit to the production platforms of Dai Hung and Thang Long - Dong Do, off-shore Vietnam to meet employees and contractors here.

The delegation included Vice President Hoang Ngoc Trung, leaders of PVEP POC and project of Block 01-02/97.

During the trip, Dr. Tran Hong Nam was reported on the situation and production activities of Dai hung – 01 Rig. In 2019, overcome many difficulties and challenges, Dai hung field and PVEP POC have achieved particularly outstanding achievements: production and operation activities were absolutely safe, no incidents; oil production is 2,84 million barrels, reaching 43,6% of the plan; gas production output is 96,1 million m3, reaching 139,3% of the plan, thereby contributing significantly to the overall achievement of PVEP.

Meeting with employees at Dai hung - 01 project, on behalf of PVEP, Chairman Tran Hong Nam highly appreciated and thanked the collective labor of the project for their efforts and results they obtained in the past year. He suggested that PVEP POC and the projects should continue their plan for the exploration and development of potential objects around the fields aimed to increase production output as well as ensure the forces and personnel to maintain continuous, stable and safe operation.

On the same day, the delegation visited and worked at vessel FPSO Lam Son JOC. Dr. Nam gave thanks to all officers and employees who are operating the vessel safely and effectively, and also extended the best new lunar year greetings.

For marginal field, the pressure of economic efficiency, the difficulties of less output and high OPEX costs…, in 2019, Block 01-02/97 still had exceeded the production plan. Dr Tran Hong Nam highly acknowledged the results that the leaders and engineers of the project have made. He also sent sincere thanks to the cooperation of Lam Son JOC and encouraged all staffs to secure work in order to ensure the operation.

On January 20th, the PVEP delegation led by Mr. Dang Viet Long, Member of the Board, concurrently acting as General Director of Thang Long JOC and Mr. Vu Minh Duc, Vice President paid a visit to IDUN platform of the projects of Te Giac Trang and Hai Su Trang – Hai Su Den which is deploying TGT 15X well.

At the meeting, the delegation was reported in the summary of operation results on 2019 in which especially safety, health and environment are absolutely guaranteed. On this special occasion, the delegation sent good wishes to the workers on platform. He wished Thang Long JOCs in particular and all JOCs in general to continue to promote the spirit and results achieved in 2019 in order to proceed to safety and higher efficiency in 2020 and once again affirmed that the general success of PVEP is contributed greatly from the achievements of the JOCs.
