On 1st October in Hanoi, PVEP launched the Running Tournament to celebrate Vietnam Women’s Day 20/10.

Attending the kick-off ceremony were Dr. Tran Hong Nam - Chairman of the Board, Dr. Tran Quoc Viet – President & CEO, other Leaders of the Company and many officers and staffs from PVEP, Vietgazprom and PVEP Song Hong.

In recent years, running has become a popular sport due to its versatility, ease of practice and ease of compete. With the purpose to encourage the movement of sports training, overcome the Covid-19 epidemic and towards the anniversary of Vietnam Women’s Day 20/10, PVEP’s Trade Union and Women Union organized the Running Tournament which will take place from October 1st to October 15th 2020. The Award Ceremony will be held on the 20th October Anniversary.

Speaking at the event, on behalf of PVEP's leaders, Chairman Tran Hong Nam thanked the enthusiastic and full participation of all PVEP leaders, officers, employees and units in Hanoi. Dr. Nam emphasized that the participation of all leaders and the male officials and employees will cheer up the movement and be a meaningful gift to PVEP women on the occasion of 20/10 Anniversary. In addition, this will demonstrate the enthusiasm in health training, thereby better serving the work.

Also at the ceremony, PVEP leaders presented flowers to female athletes participating in the Tournament. After the announcement of rules, all athletes had a warm-up run, officially starting the PVEP Running Tournament.
