On April 23rd, PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP) held a ceremony to announce its two new Vice Presidents: Mr. Ngo Khanh Xa and Mr. Hoang Xuan Duong.

Attending the ceremony, on the side of Vietnam National Oil & Gas Group (PVN), there were Vice President Nguyen Quoc Thap and heads of the Group's divisions. For PVEP were Chairman of the Board Tran Hong Nam, President & CEO Tran Quoc Viet and leaders from the Board of Directors, Executive Board, heads of functional divisions, member units / projects…The ceremony was held online at 2 points of Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City.

In order to strengthen the Leadership of PVEP, the Board of Directors has decided to appoint Mr. Ngo Khanh Xa, General Manager of Exploration Division (PVEP) and Mr. Hoang Xuan Duong, Deputy General Manager of Economics & Investment Division (PVN), to PVEP Vice President.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vice President Hoang Xuan Duong thanked the Leaders of PVN and PVEP for the trust and confidence. He hopes to continue receive the concern and support from all leaders and employees in order to well perform the assigned tasks, focusing on removing obstacles so that PVEP can maintain stable operation, overcome the current difficult period and develop in the coming time.

On behalf of PVN, Vice President Nguyen Quoc Thap congratulated two new PVEP Leaders and also emphasized that the two appointed Vice Presidents are young, well-trained, fostered and challenged through many positions, by these appointments, PVN commits to stand by and support PVEP to complete all missions ahead.

Concluding the event, PVEP Chairman Tran Hong Nam thanked the leaders of the Group for caring, closely and timely support to PVEP in all aspects of operation. Being aware of PVEP in particular, the Oil & Gas industry in general are going through the most difficult period in history, Dr. Nam believes that new Vice Presidents will quickly catch up and focus on speeding up the work, continue to have positive ideas to bring the Corporation overcoming difficulties. Chairman of PVEP also wants all leaders and employees to strengthen solidarity, close coordination, strive to bring PVEP through the current situation, creating a momentum for development in the next period.
