On February 25th in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City, PetroVietnam Exploration and Production Corporation (PVEP) announced Decision to appoint Dr. Dang Ngoc Quy, Vice President and Heads of functional Divisions of PVEP.

Attending the ceremony, for Vietnam Oil & Gas Group (PVN) there were Dr. Phan Ngoc Trung - Member of the Board of Directors; Dr. Nguyen Quoc Thap – Vice President.

On the side of PVEP, there were Chairman Tran Hong Nam; President & CEO Tran Quoc Viet and other Leaders, representatives of Divisions and Departments of PVEP.

PVN/PVEP Leaders congratulate Vice President Dang Ngoc Quy

Recent years, in the context of sharp decline of world oil prices, the whole oil & gas industry has been seriously affected. With outstanding efforts, PVEP overcame difficulties, fulfilled all tasks assigned by the Group in terms of production as well as increasing reserves. In 2019, PVEP basically completed the restructuring of the personnel apparatus, successfully completing the Company’s goals, especially personnel organization. It has consolidated technical and functional units, leaders of branches and departments/divisions of the Company. On February 12, 2020, PVN/ PVEP agreed to appoint Dr. Dang Ngoc Quy, former Deputy Director of Phu Quoc Petroleum Operating Company, to Vice President of PVEP.

On this occasion, PVEP Board of Directors also appointed Mr. Nguyen Thanh Hai – GM of Project Management, Mr. Pham Ngoc Hien – GM of Planning & Investment and Mr. Le Vu Dung – GM of Field Development..

PVEP President & CEO also appointed Ms. Dang Thi Duyen and Mr. Mai Tien Vinh to Deputy GM of Planning and Investment; Mr. Nguyen Tien Hung and Mr Vu Xuan Thuy to Deputy GM of Project Management; Mr. Le Trung Tam and Mr. Hoang Duy Thiet to Deputy GM of Exploration.

Vice President Dang Ngoc Quy expressed his thanks and respect for the trust of PVN/PVEP for himself and his colleagues. Dr. Quy also pledged in the new position, together with PVEP's leaders, officers and employees to overcome the current difficulties and complete the tasks assigned by PVN/PVEP.

Speaking at the ceremony, PVN Vice President Nguyen Quoc Thap congratulated Dr. Dang Ngoc Quy and the appointed GMs / Deputy GMs; he also acknowledged and praised the efforts of PVEP's staffs and leaders for successfully overcoming difficulties in recent years. On behalf of PVEP, Chairman Tran Hong Nam said that in the coming time, PVEP will face many challenges so it is necessary to unite and have willingness to carry out the key tasks of PVEP in 2020.
