On January 23, the delegation of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) led by Dr. Phan Ngoc Trung, Member of the Board of Directors visited engineers and workers on FPSO Armada and FPSO Thai Binh VN and Su Tu Vang CPP Rig.

Joining the delegation were Ms. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Lan - PVN Supervisor, Mr. Vu Dao Minh - Deputy GM of Production Division PVN.

On the side of PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP), there were Dr. Tran Hong Nam – Chairman, Mr. Pham Xuan Son – Vice President and other Leaders from Cuu Long JOC, Hoan Long Hoan Vu JOCs, Thang Long JOC.

Leaders of PVN and PVEP present Tet gifts on FPSO Armada

For PVEP, Dr. Tran Hong Nam expressed his joy and emotion as he visited and encouraged officials, engineers and workers on the vessel. Dr. Nam sent his sincere thanks to the collective labor of the JOCs who tried their best and achieved positive production results in 2018. He especially emphasized the achievements and safety that the JOCs have obtained, such as FPSO Armada vessel reach 24 million safety hours after 13 years of operation; Thai Binh VN vessel reached 850 consecutive days without accidents after 10 years of safe operation ... At the meeting, the delegation was reported on the summary of operating results in 2018. In 2018, by applying the overall solutions, the JOCs basically completed the targets of production, especially safety, health and environment are absolutely guaranteed, thereby contributing significantly to the overall achievement of the Group.

On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2019, Dr. Tran Hong Nam sent good wishes to the engineers and workers on board. He wished all JOCs to continue to promote the spirit and results achieved in 2018 in order to proceed to safety and higher efficiency in 2019.

On behalf of the leaders of the PVN, Dr. Phan Ngoc Trung acknowledged and appreciated the achievements that the units have made efforts in 2018, especially workers working on FPSO Armada and Thai Binh VN vessels, Su Tu Vang CPP. He affirmed that the general success of the Group is contributed greatly from the achievements of the JOCs, or more specifically,by the merits of all labors who are daily clinging to the sea to work on board and on the rig to bring oil and gas to the country.

On this occasion, Dr. Phan Ngoc Trung and Dr. Tran Hong Nam, on behalf of PVN and PVEP, gave meaningful Tet gifts to encourage leaders and all engineers and workers of the JOCs. At the meeting, Dr. Trung has announced preliminary results in the exploration and production of the Group in 2018 and plan targets for 2019. On the occasion of the Lunar New Year in the year 2019, on behalf of the Group, Dr. Phan Ngoc Trung sent New Year greetings and best wishes.

This familiar meeting was also a great encouragement for all engineers and labors on the vessels and the rigs to continue their noble work in 2019 with safe and effective.
