Mr. Dinh Van Duc was born in 1973 in Hanoi and had Corporate Finance Degree from the University of Economics in Ho Chi Minh City.

Taking his first step in Oil & Gas Industry since 1996 as an officer in Finance & Accounting Department of PetroVietnam Exploration and Production Company (PVEP) in Ho Chi Minh City – the predecessor of PVEP nowadays. In 2002, Mr. Duc was assigned as Deputy Head of F&A Department, and then appointed Chief Accountant and Head of F&A of the Company in 2004.

On May 2007, PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP) was formed on the merge between PetroVietnam E&P Company (PVEP) and PetroVietnam Investment & Development Company (PIDC); Mr. Dinh Van Duc was entrusted with the position of Chief Accountant of the Corporation.

Early of 2019, based on the decision of PVEP, Mr. Duc continued to be Chief Accountant, GM of Finance & Accounting Division. In July 2019, he moved to Supervisory Board of PVEP as General Manager.

With his experience and contribution to the Oil & Gas Industry generally and to PVEP in particular, on March 1st 2022, Chairman of Vietnam Oil & Gas Group appointed Mr. Dinh Van Duc to be Member of the Board of Directors of PVEP.
