THE 9th YEAR BRINGING “WARM CLOTHES FOR CHILDREN” TO CAO BANG

On December 15th 2018, the Youth Union of PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP) organized the 9th program of “Warm Clothes for Children" in Soc Ha commune, Ha Quang district, Cao Bang province.

The program was attended by Mr. Nguyen Ngoc Viet - Secretary of the Youth Union, Chairman of the Youth Union of Hanoi; Mr. Nguyen Duc Tien - Deputy Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union; Mr. Do The Hoang - PVEP Youth Union Secretary; Mr. Pham Ngoc Hien – Deputy GM of Human Resource & Training Division and many members of PVEP Youth Union.

The "Warm Clothes for Children" program is part of winter volunteer activities in 2018 organized by Hanoi Youth Union in collaboration with PVEP and Young Physicians' Association in Cao Bang. The program includes activities such as the inauguration of the memorial house with the name of Martyrs Border Station of Soc Giang Border Gate; health examination and free medicine for people; giving gifts to children and families in difficult circumstances; presenting gifts to two primary and secondary schools in Soc Ha commune.

This is an annual activity launched by PVEP Youth Union, the program with support and donations from leaders and employees of PVEP in order to bring joy and warmth to students, teachers and highlanders.

This is the 9th time “Warm Clothes for Children” has been organized; PVEP has brought two primary and secondary schools in Soc Ha commune: 50 gifts for children and families in difficult circumstances; 400 gifts including hats, shirts, school supplies; 2 sets of computers; together with books, notebooks and toys donated by PVEP's employees. In response to the program, Hanoi Youth Union also sent two schools with many gifts including books and equipment.
