Today, October 13, 2016, Vietnam Report Joint stock Company, VietNamNet - the Ministry of Information and Communication and the Tax Journal - General Department of Taxation officially announced the List of V1000 - Vietnam's 1000 greatest corporate income tax payers in Vietnam in 2016 to praise, honor and encourage the enterprises for their contribution to the State budget.
 

Not only in the leading Top of the greatest corporate taxpayers in Vietnam, but PVEP is always at the forefront in the work of social welfare and community development as well. 

This is the 7th consecutive year that V1000 is published based on the results of collecting, investigating, processing and verifying independent data of the organizers of V1000 List in combination with reference to the data of feedbacks from the enterprises in the data surveys of Vietnam Report, and the analysis and evaluation of credibility in the media including the review of the enterprises' compliance with the policies and laws on taxes.
As the mainstay of the economy of the country, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group with the main unit being PVEP throughout the years, has always been the greatest corporate taxpayer in Vietnam. This year, PetroVietnam continues to hold the No. 1 position, confirming the position and stature of the largest economic group in the country. PVEP also has the honor with PVGas to be the two member units present in the Top10. 
This is also the 7th consecutive year PVEP has had the honor to stand in the top list of the greatest corporate income tax payers in Vietnam. Though faced with enormous challenges due to lengthened declining and low oil prices from 6/2014, making the operations, revenue and profitability of the Corporation subject to negative impact, the continued ranking high in V1000 List has confirmed the role and effective contributions of the collective laborers of PVEP to the State budget and national economy. The achievements also show that the orientation of the leadership of Vietnam Oil and Gas Group, as well as leaders of PVEP is correct; it also demonstrates the sustainable development, readiness to face any challenge of the collective of Vietnam oil and gas sector. 
In the context PVEP is facing numerous difficulties due to the lengthened oil price decline, the maintenance of stable production and business activities is a very great effort of the Corporation, but the continued maintenance as a major contributor to the budget revenues and standing in the Top10 largest corporate income tax payers in Vietnam could deserve to be considered a feat against today's challenge; PVEP and oil and gas enterprises are assuming the difficulties and make efforts with the highest sense of responsibility to contribute to the country's economy. This is also a tremendous encouragement for the employees and officers of PVEP, so that each collective and individual in PVEP will continue to promote the enthusiasm, the spirit of initiative and creativity, and contribute to the Corporation’s overcoming all challenges towards future development and prosperity.
A Hero of Labor, a special corporation of the State, besides holding high rank in the V-1000 List, for several consecutive years, PVEP has also topped in VNR 500 List - Top 500 Largest Enterprises in Vietnam and received many other prestigious awards in the country such as Vietnam Gold Star, Enterprises with the best work environment, Enterprises with the largest social contribution and responsibilities.
