As part of activities on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2019, on January 25^th, PVEP President & CEO Tran Quoc Viet and his delegation went to Dai Hung 01 Rig to visit and encourage PVEP POC officials and employees and contractors working at Dai Hung Field.

Joining the delegation were Ms. Cao Thi Thanh Loi, GM of Internal Control Board of PVN and Mr. Le Duc Tue, Director of the PVEP POC.

During the trip, CEO Tran Quoc Viet was reported on the situation of production on Dai Hung 01 Rig. In 2018, overcome many difficulties and challenges, Dai Hung Field and PVEP POC have achieved particularly outstanding achievements: production and business activities were absolutely safe, no incidents causing loss of labor days; oil production is 433 thousand tons, reaching 140% of the plan; gas production output is 117 million m3, reaching 151% of the plan; export of crude oil reached 3.49 million barrels, reaching 153% of the plan. Turnover reached 281 million USD, paying state budget reached 57.3 million USD.

On behalf of PVEP's leaders, CEO Tran Quoc Viet praised all PVEP POC's leaders, officials, engineers, workers and contractors in operating and producing Dai Hung project. He also expressed his appreciation and thanks for the dedication, efforts and responsibility to contribute to the project's activities of the all employees.

Dr. Tran Quoc Viet emphasized that with the peculiar nature of oil and gas production activities, PVEP and contractors and partners must ensure the forces and personnel to maintain continuous, stable and safe operation. In particular, during Tet holiday, when the others are enjoying the warmth and reunion, oil and gas workers are still enthusiastically working on projects. These are silent sacrifices but with great significance and great value for the project, for PVEP, for the petroleum industry and for the development of the national economy.

On the occasion of the coming Lunar New Year, on behalf of PetroVietnam, Ms. Cao Thi Thanh Loi and Dr. Tran Quoc Viet presented Tet gifts and meaningful New Year greetings to the collective of employees at Dai Hung 01.
