PetroVietnam President & CEO visits PVEP Projects on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2019
In celebration of the 89th Anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (February 3rd 1930 - March 3rd 2019) and the occasion of Lunar New Year 2019, on the morning of February 3rd 2019, the Delegation of Vietnam Oil & Gas Group (PetroVietnam) led by Mr. Nguyen Vu Truong Son – President & CEO paid a visit to the production platforms at PVEP Project of Block 01 & 02, off shore Vietnam. The delegation was warmly received by Mr. Pham Nhu Khanh, Project Director and engineers of Block 01&02.

The Project of Block 01 & 02 was assigned to PVEP by the Government / PVN to directly operate 4 active fields: Ruby, Pearl, Topaz and Diamond. In 2018, PVEP has managed and operated with absolutely secure and highest efficiency. The output reached 3.57 million barrels of oil, bringing in revenue of more than 250 million USD.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2019, President & CEO Nguyen Vu Truong Son sent best wishes to all staffs of Project 01 & 02, highly acknowledged and appreciated the achievements that the leaders and employees the Project has made in 2018; He also emphasized that this is a potential oil and gas project and needs to be invested effectively in exploration and development, in order to maintain and increase production output, contributing significantly to the Group's overall oil and gas production.
